Are mini switches worth it?
This switch works exactly as expected. I’ve built two guitars using this switch, one with soldered connections and another with crimp wiring. This switch uses a 2.8mm female connector. The functionality has surpassed my expectations. I use these mini switches much more than I thought I would. Whatever your amp settings are, a quick flip of the switch will give you a sound you wouldn’t have found otherwise. Good useable tone! I designed a guitar to use three mini switches one of them being a phase but I didn’t want to pay the $30.00 for a custom diagram, although I’m glad that service is available. I can still add the phase switch later if I want but people say it doesn’t do much. I guess I’ll just have to build another guitar :-} I love this website!
