CTS 250K No Load / Blend Pot for Guitar w/ Brass Shaft

CTS 250K "No-Load" Audio Taper Guitar Tone Pot. The same custom features as our CTS Audio Taper Pro Guitar pots in a No-Load Blender pot configuration.

No Load Tone Operation: Wired the same as a traditional tone pot and functions like a standard tone control from 1-9. Then at 10 (Full Clockwise setting) the load of the pot and tone capacitor are disconnected from the circuit. This eliminates the path to ground that exists with standard pots in the full setting resulting in increased power and brightness at the "full treble" setting.

Blender Operation: For blender applications, the pot is wired using only two terminals. when rotated to the full clockwise "10" position, the pickup to be blended is disconnected from the circuit for 100% un altered standard pickup selection. Rotating the pot counterclockwise will engage the pickup to be blended in and increase its volume relative to the other Pickup(s) that are active. When the pot is rotated to the full clockwise setting, the blended pickup will be at full volume. 

Note: No Load pots are designed to expand the range of the tone control or be used as pickup blenders and can not be used as standard volume controls.
