Great high quality switch. If you’re going through a thick carved wood top I would recommend pairing with a flush mount collar that they also sell. Part of the collar sits below the surface to thread on to the switch properly.
I have a carved top Epiphone Les Paul Black Beauty 3 and I was assured by reviews that this was the switch to replace mine. I bought it and started the process only to find that it barely stuck out past the hole on the outside of my guitar. I had to remove the rhythm/treble switch label and chisel down the wood on the inside of the switch pocket to get it to even have enough thread to get the nut on. If you need to replace this switch make sure you're okay with carving out the inside of the pocket.
