The Pure Tone jack's patented design provides a firm reliable connection and improved electrical conductivity compared to standard ¼" jacks. These jacks features two spring contacts per pole which doubles the surface area of the connections and holds the instrument cable firmly in place. This superior design also increases the current capacity/rating of ¼" jack connections.

Pure Tone Output jack
I have used several of the Pure Tone output jacks. They have a more solid connection feel. So, I will continue using them.
