Alpha brand single conductor shielded guitar circuit wire (26 Gauge-3 foot roll). RG-174 military grade wire specifically designed for use in musical instruments and audio circuits. My title says it all. I prefer this with the insulated covering over the shielding and the fact that it does have the cloth insulation inside. This is much easier to work and I don't have to shrink wrap it or clean up cutting the cloth insulation, which frays bad.
I should have bought more. 3' was not enough. I used in conjunction with other brand's exposed shielded wire. This wire was really easy to work with and you don't have to worry about the ground shield contacting things it shouldn't.
