    New to installing pots, not sure if this was what I needed to replace my scratchy treble pot on my Fender jazz bass with pre amp. I figured for the cost, it wouldn't hurt to try it. Well I needed a solid shaft pot, but my knob with set screw tightened up just fine on this splined shaft. I got the same ohms readings as my old pot, so I installed it. Works great. Feels great with nice amount of turning resistance.
