I tried to wire a hss strat with this and have a volume pot for the humbucker and volume and tone pot for the single coils using a diagram that I found on a forum somewhere. It didn’t work. I went back to a regular oak Grigsby 5 way switch and one volume and one tone with resistors on the single coils. Simple and it works. I prefer Oak Grigsby switches to any others that I have tried.
This a quality switch. Changed out all my electronics in my Ibanez. A switch that gives you many options for various setups! American made too! Recommend!
Good Product, however very over packaged and thus cost ($18.49) for postage, the item cost ($17.95) I have just ordered a soldering gun From USA which is 50 times heavier 3 times the size of the box the switch arrived in and its shipping cost was $3.95. I think you need to look into shipping costs to the UK if you want to promote business here. Hope this is helpful to you. John J Clarke
