V-Treb Variable Treble Bleed Circuits by Precision Music Technologies. The V-Treb variable treble bleed/bypass circuit corrects the problem of high frequency losses at reduced volume levels. Adjustable bleed level allows the user to set the amount of treble that bypasses the pot when the volume is reduced for precise control of how bright or warm the tone will be at lower volume levels. With the volume at 10, the V-Treb is removed from the circuit and does not affect the sound.

This thing is the 10%!!! Which doesn’t seem like much but, if ur like me and ur guitar sounds 90% perfect this V-treb is what takes it to 100%!!! I can’t recommend this enough. It allows u to make ur guitar as bouncy or as stout as u want. It’s a hellofa trick.

Love this! Works great
I wanted to drop a treble bleed into my Jaguar, but there isn’t a ton of info out there about best resistors/caps to use for them. I was resigned to having to get a few different ones and find a good combo based on trial and error. Then I saw a few folks on forums recommending these. I figured it would be a faster way to get to the right setting on my Jaguar. And it was even faster than I expected. Popped open the controls, soldered the circuit in place. I just left the controls hanging out, plugged the guitar in, strummed, and adjusted the tiny little pot on this until I got the sound I liked best (I liked it best turned all the way up). Used the little bit of double sided tape to stick on the volume pot, closed it up, and I was done. Took longer to heat up my soldering iron than it did to install. Love these! I’m going to be installing the other two I got in my Les Paul. Will probably pick up some more for my other guitars. I’m super impressed.

My humbucker based guitar is a totally different instrument after installing the V-Treb treble bleed. My amp eq is consistent throughout the range of the volume control’s sweep. I would recommend this to anyone struggling with a muddy tone when dialing back the volume.

Perfect, w/modded Strat shortcut!
Love this product, great idea. Could I have made my own? Sure but for this price it wasn't really practical. Dials in that lower volume sound you've been looking for. *****Please Note the Following***** Great out of the box for LesPaul and other rear panel pots HOWEVER I don't get how your supposed to install on a Strat pot, install pickguard, string/tune up, play, listen and take note, remove EVERYTHING, make needed adjustments, reinstall all over again hoping you got it right!!! INSTEAD Just mount in jack cavity and route 2 jumper wires. SO Much quicker/easier to adjust! Hope this helps someone.

Unbelievable Range
This thing is incredible. I installed it, left off the control cover, and spent hours messing with the bleed amount, with just a handful of tones. You truly can make your guitar act any way you want with this thing; it's unbelievable. I have 59 / JB setup, both of whom split with a push/pull, and the range of tones I can conjure, which were already massive, now just feels limitless. It was a cinch to install, as the wiring diagram would imply, and this is worlds beyond experimenting with different capacitors and resistors. It makes me feel like every electronic part on the guitar should have this kind of adjustability, some kind of internal range setting. Thank you truly for this great creation, and for pricing it so reasonably. I've been interested in PMT for years (still hoping for the release of the GuitarMax), and this just underlines to me not only how forward thinking, but how truly effective, the PMT creations are.
